... Missing the stop and ending up at the end of the line only to have to go back on different bus, free
... Getting to recoletta cemetery only to realize you've left your camera memory card behind .... Priceless
Ohh yes I did! All was ok in the end though, fortunately the cemetery is near a shopaholics dream and a new card was sourced post haste!
And boy am I glad I did. Never I have seen anything like it, and it was made all the more fun with the crazy lady from the friends of the cemetery group who refused to serve brazillians (they only come for here and not for the art darling), didn't want a photo taken of her by the tourist outside (I am not a morning person darling, I will look hoooorrrriibble) and when I tried to leave a 2 peso tip for the map, refused to take it. Un pocco locco!
The photos will speak for themselves in terms of how grand this cemetery is, it can only be described as walking through the most macabre streets, with each tomb being fit for a king ... Or those that can afford it!
