So, with Sunday fast approaching, and the football game of the century about to start I figured I ought to spend today looking at other parts of the city. A wander down callee Florida was a lovely way to start the day and also gave me a chance to check out where I needed to be tomorrow to be collected for the game, right next door to the plaza ... Yeap, where I stayed last time!
It also gave me the idea to be a 'real tourist' for the day and jump on one of the open roof city tour buses. The photos give you an idea of where I went, but as luck would have it, or not, our bus broke down ... In la boca. Nice. With sunset fast approaching, you could see fear start to appear on the faces of some of the others I had the luck to be on the bus with.
That said, we were in the safe streets ... So full of tourists that you couldn't imagine anything happening. And yes, la boca really is so very colorful. An amazing part of such an amazing city, if only there weren't so many tourists screwing up the photo ops!
Thank goodness for broken down buses I say!
