Countless countries this traveller has passed through, many a road my fair flip flops have tread. And alas, today, must report this intrepid traveller was pick pocketed. What may you ask did the thief acquire?
Was it my passport I had on my person, secured in my bag behind two zips? No.
Was it the wallet I carried in same bag next to my happy snap camera, behind only one zip this time? again, fortunately, no.
Was it the credit card I had smugly hidden in a hiddy hole in my bag even tweak would be proud of, again I must answer no.
The cash I have separated from my wallet for such an emergency as this? No.
Grasping at straws I hear you ask, was it the 1.25 pesos in my front pocket for the bus home? Again, it is a no.
No my friends and fancied followers, the thief made away with my map of the city, securely stowed in my back pocket. Guess something was on my side today, although it did make for an interesting journey home!
